I got the call at 4:00am from mama saying she was at 8cm. When I arrived, I instantly felt an overwhelming peace. Lots of happy faces in the room and mama wasn't completely miserable at this point. It was so refreshing to see that this new life was going to be entering the world with so much love and adoration.
Seeing how mom surrounded her sacred birth space by such a supportive group of people was so touching, too.
She fought HARD. Dad's support was never ceasing. And babe came out happy and healthy...and even got his first chiropractic adjustment not long after birth!
This right here...This is when I KNEW that I NEEDED my focus to be on birth and newborn photography!
